  1. Support and promote adult day care services as a viable alternative to institutional
    care.  

    Long Term Care Facilities  
  1. Increase public awareness, and interest in, long-term care issues.
  2. Improve communication between long-term care facility staff, residents and families.
  3. Help reduce the existing institutional bias regarding eligibility to receive financial
    assistance for personal care services.

    Personal Care Workforce   
  1. Increase available workforce of qualified, certified nursing assistants and personal
    care aides.
  2. Improve job retention rate of certified nursing assistants and personal care aides.
